Do you love cannabis so much that you wish you could bathe in it? If you suffer from aches, pains, and/or insomnia, you definitely should try adding a CBD-infused bath to your cannabis routine!

CBD for fibroymyalgia, chronic pain and inflammation

While a warm soak is a known relaxation aid, it also can be especially beneficial for people living with fibromyalgia. According to the National Fibromyalgia Association, an estimated 10 million people have the disorder, making it one of the most common chronic pain conditions.

In addition to widespread pain and inflammation throughout the body, fibromyalgia can also cause chronic fatigue, memory issues, IBS, sleep disturbances and insomnia, headaches, sensitivity to light and temperature, and more, reports WebMD. Due to the wide variance of symptoms, a fibromyalgia diagnosis is often difficult, as the disorder is commonly misdiagnosed for another condition. While there is no cure for fibromyalgia, finding ways to manage symptoms can greatly improve quality of life.

While CBD can certainly help with these symptoms and many more when ingested via edible form, vaped or smoked, research shows that CBD also can provide pain relief when used topically or absorbed through the skin via a CBD-infused bath. According to Harvard Health, studies have found that transdermal CBD applications can help lower pain and inflammation, as CBD helps to inhibit inflammatory and neuropathic pain.

Of course, even people without fibromyalgia can enjoy all the benefits of a CBD bath, as it can be a great way to relax and unwind before bed.
